Zero Cloud Storage Policy
RojX does not route your controller buttons, analog stick data, motion actions, or touch events through any cloud servers. All gameplay inputs are transmitted directly over your local home network (LAN) to your PC.
1. Payment Information & Merchant of Record
Payment information is processed directly by our merchant of record, Polar (polar.sh). We do not store your credit card or billing details on our servers.
When you purchase a subscription or software license for RojX, all financial transactions are conducted directly through Polar. Polar acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing, sales tax/VAT compliance, customer payment inquiries, and returns in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards.
2. Data Transmission & Local Network
RojX functions by mapping touch controls, gyroscope data, and buttons on your smartphone, and transmitting them to a driver running on your Windows PC.
- Direct Transmission: Controller inputs are sent over a direct UDP/TCP network socket connection on your local Wi-Fi router or USB cable.
- No External Intermediaries: No third-party network proxies, databases, or cloud brokers are used in the control stream.
- Input Buffers: Button event packets are processed instantly in memory on your host PC driver and are never cached or written to local storage logs.
3. Information We Collect
Unlike typical gaming platforms, RojX does not require you to register an account, log in, or link social accounts.
- Device Model: We read the platform type (Android, iOS, Windows) and screen aspect ratios to dynamically render controller touch templates. This info never leaves the local app.
- Store Analytics: Standard telemetry logs may be collected by Google Play, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, or our payment partner Polar during app updates, crashes, or purchases. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Links & Advertising
The RojX desktop software and mobile clients do not include behavioral tracking, user profiling, or programmatic third-party ads. Our website (RojX.io) serves only static layout details and app store badges redirecting directly to official marketplaces.
